Trans Atlantic Electric Conversions was founded by Douglas A. Stansfield in 2008.    Mr. Stansfield also founded the NJ Electric Auto Association and now serves on the Board of Directors of the National Electric Auto Association.  

Doug graduated from Northeastern University in 1988 and has pursued various business interests over the years and has seen opportunities arise that leave golden opportunities for people to excell ahead of their parents generations.  When Doug saw the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car", he was determined to right the wrongs of that movie.  At the end of 2003 consumers and businesses had no opportunity to purchase any Electric Cars even if they had wanted one.  That was a large market opportunity in Doug's eyes.  There is demand for clean, low noise, renewable energy cars and trucks and he started pursuing a way to satisfy this business and consumer need.
